At 828 meters, Burj Khalifa is easily the world’s tallest building – beating the Shanghai tower by a vast margin of more than 200 meters. As a result, you can never miss Burj Khalifa on the Dubai skyline. On an aerial tour of the famous Burj, observe every architectural detail of the topmost point of the world’s tallest building. Also witness the visual extravaganza of the three largest artificial islands in the world located just off the coast of Dubai. Each island is shaped like a palm leaf (hence the name ‘Palm Jumeirah), with a trunk connected to the mainland, fronds extending from the trunk, and a crescent shaped breakwater encircling the trunk and fronds. But the real amazement is in exploring this iconic tower up close and personal. This giant marvel of the modern world has a whopping 211 floors with 57 single decker and 2 double decker lifts to get to the top. Get onto the observation deck on the 124th floor to see the majestic views of Dubai like never before. What’s more, tuck in to a delicious meal on level 122 at At.mosphere – the highest located restaurant from ground level. It is one of the most enchanting experiences. Regular light shows take place here, where the water from the fountain is made to dance with accompanied Arabic or contemporary music. 30 minute shows happen regularly between 6 pm and 10 pm on weekdays and 6 pm and 11 pm on weekends (Thursday, Friday, Saturday).

What’s the point of going to Dubai if you haven’t explored the desert? Take your kids along on an overnight desert safari for the ultimate outdoor adventure. Nights in Dubai offer visitors extraordinary opportunities for memorable experiences. There is something so magical about sitting by the warm glow of a fire, while enjoying a meal with your loved ones under a starry desert sky on a balmy Arabian night. A desert safari is an unmissable, unparalleled experience in Dubai. You must opt for a comprehensive tour that comes with 4×4 dune bashing, camel rides and a delicious barbeque dinner. Dubai is also the only place for miles around to offer indoor skiing in the middle of a desert!
